Pride month kicked off with a bang – a full week’s worth no less – and it was wonderful of course. I went to as many of the sets as I could manage (I’ve not been feeling too great lately) which were all awesome. As were the other sets I missed I’m sure – sorry 😦 . We even had an FSG Takeover on the Thursday where Geo and I DJed!!

As mentioned earlier it was also the Second Life Birthday celebration this month and Nuno and London both DJed as part of that event. I managed to get to both sets which were both fantastic of course although I’m sorry I didn’t grab any pics 😦 . You can find some on Nuno’s Primfeed below though!

What else happened… I missed this one sadly as it was bed time for me but Dal hosted a field trip on Sunday June 15th!!
There will be more field trip shenanigans soon just keep an eye out in the FSG Discord Server for Dal’s posts 😛 . There might even be more trip photo contests! Nuno continued his epic month by winning this one…

Oh I also DJed this month; London was on holiday so I got to cover her Friday set – which was a huge first and privilege for me – with what will (most likely be) my last set of 2025. I really had a blast and hope everyone enjoyed my selection of tunes but with everything happening in the coming months I just won’t have the time/energy to dedicate to it all (more on that later though).
As a little extra I thought I’d mention that my current musical addiction is the voice of Teddy Swims. Here’s one of his songs I didn’t include in my set so you can hear/see why I’m addicted…

So I mentioned I’m going to be busy and won’t have DJ time in the next few months. That’s because later this year we have some real fun stuff coming up…
OK I’ll tease some of it. We’ll be having an FSG Summer Party next month the “FSG Car Wash” with a photo contest to go along with the party backdrop! After that we’ll start planning the next FSG Fashion Show which will take place at the same time as our FSG anniversary party 🙂 . Want to know more then check out last year’s event:
But before all of that I have a huge brand new FSG Contest to announce!!!
OK before I give you all the juicy details I need to apologise; the contest was supposed to be officially announced/started yesterday. I wasn’t feeling well at all though and had to put this blog off a day. But details next!!
FSG’s First Top Model is a 3 round contest where we’ll crown our – as you can guess – First Top Model! I’ll outline the rules and prizes below (we’ll post this in the Discord Server too though):
1: Each round will last a month; it will have an associated sponsor and theme. For example the first round (July) has a “Cyber/Sci-fi” theme and is sponsored by Wraith. Following round themes will be announced later but will be sponsored by Sacredsquare and Appetite.
2: To enter you need to submit one fashionable themed photo in front of the special backdrop at FSG (I’ll share this month’s at the end of the rules). We will be judging the model so you can take your own pic or have someone else take it for you; it can be in any photo format you want. All entries must be submitted by the end of the month to Semy, Esmi, or Dal.
3: All avatars can enter. This is a contest for the whole community.
4: No AI. Entries which have obvious signs of AI shenanigans will be excluded from the judging process.
5: The first entry per person will be their first and only entry of the round.
6: All entries will be added to the new discord channel so everyone can see them.
7: Entries will be judged by the FSG panel; Semy, Esmi, Dal, Pillar and each month a guest sponsor judge.
8: Round winners will be announced on the 1st of the following month and the next round’s theme/sponsor announced on the 2nd.
9: If you want to enter to win a monthly prize that’s all good. You don’t have to enter all three rounds if you don’t want to but…
10: To win the grand prize and become FSG’s First Top model you MUST enter all three rounds! The judging panel will only consider folks who have taken part in the whole contest and the winner will be chosen by looking at all the shots they have entered.

Prizes!!
Each round winner will receive a L$1000 prize plus a fatpack (or something equivalent of their choice) from the round’s store sponsor 🙂 .
At the the end of the full three round contest we’ll announce a top three with prizes as following…
3rd place – L$1000
2nd place – L$2000
1st place – L$5000, a special FSG in world group title, a new FSG Discord server role, a prime photo spot in the FSG gallery (pending our beach rebuild), and a special photo of their choice (taken by Esmi).
